What time does FFXIV maintenance end and patch 7.1 release?

Final Fantasy 14’s first post-Dawntrail patch is on the horizon, with maintenance going down for the game for about seven hours before patch 7.1 properly launches.

Below, we explain when FFXIV Dawntrail maintenance ends and some of the things you can look forward to when the patch launches.

What time does FFXIV maintenance end and servers come back online?

Final Fantasy 14’s maintenance ends on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the following times:

  • 2 a.m. PST for the west coast of North America
  • 5 a.m. EST for the east coast of North America
  • 10 a.m. GMT for the U.K.
  • 11 a.m. CET for western Europe/Paris
  • 7 p.m. JST for Japan/Tokyo
  • 9 p.m. AEDT for Australia/Sydney

Note that maintenance does end before daily reset time, so you can likely squeeze in a set of the new Pelupelu allied society quests if you’re quick (and awake that early).

What’s new in FFXIV 7.1?

Of course, there’s also more main scenario quests, where we seem to continue to pick up the pieces after the events of Dawntrail. (We won’t get into it for spoiler reasons, just in case you haven’t finished Dawntrail yet. You also probably shouldn’t watch the trailer below, either.) With the new MSQ comes a new dungeon, Yuweyawata Field Station, and you’ll be able to take on the Extreme version of the third trial from the Dawntrail main story, too.

A lot of patch 7.1’s content will be spread out in coming weeks, so while this specific patch doesn’t have the new Cloud of Darkness (Chaotic) raid or the new custom deliveries, there’s still a good chunk of stuff to do in the patch, including the new Final Fantasy 11 crossover alliance raid, Echoes of Vana’diel. There’s also new allied society quests, where we can help out the Pelupelu in exchange for some sweet combat EXP.

There’s also a ton of new features coming in, like the ability to change the interior design of your house, meaning you can finally get rid of those pesky columns and even change how your staircases look.
