Stardew Valley players on Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X will finally be able to download the game’s major 1.6 update on Monday. It’s been several months since the patch was released on Windows PC on March 19, due to complications with the console and mobile ports.

This means that console and mobile players will have access to the 1.6 patch’s new animal-focused farm, three-day spring festival, two other mini festivals, and a whole host of smaller fixes. But everyone, across platforms, will get a little something as Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone launches the 1.6.9 update that’s got a whole bunch of quality-of-life updates, balance changes, and bug fixes. One of the more exciting new updates for everyone is the “Lost Items Shop,” which will show up in Stardew Valley’s secret woods area; Stardew Valley has several items that can only be acquired once, so if you accidentally give one of those items away or sell it, you’ve previously been out of luck. The secret shop will appear overnight after losing an item and allow a player to buy whatever they’ve lost back — stuff like the Stardew Hero Trophy, Emily’s Magic Boots, Soda Machine, Bear Statue, Junimo Plus, or Standing Geode. (If you’re on multiplayer and someone loses an item, anyone can buy one back, per the patch notes.)

Another helpful quality-of-life change is that items dropped into bodies of water will briefly float so you’ve actually got a change to rescue it, instead of dropping straight to the bottom, out of reach forever.

The full patch notes are available on the Stardew Valley website.
