Where to buy the D&D 50th anniversary vinyl album
Wizards of the Coast is pulling out all stops to celebrate Dungeons & Dragons’ 50th anniversary. In addition to launching to a new Player’s Handbook (the 2024 edition Dungeon Master’s Guide is coming mid-November), the company has announced a forthcoming album fit for a tabletop outing. Bardic Inspiration: A Musical Journey through the Forgotten Realms will launch Nov. 15 and will be available both digitally and — here’s the very special part — as a double vinyl for $49.99. Pre-orders are available now from Amazon.
Bardic Inspiration was composed by Michael Gatt and includes 12 tracks that “serve as an aural homage to the rich lore and enchanting adventures that have defined D&D for half a century.” Judging by the track listing, all the hits are here, including both iconic locations such as Baldur’s Gate and Waterdeep as well as an iconic figures from D&D history such as Drizzt the dark elf, Lolth the Demon Queen of Spiders, and Tiamat.
